The Wiki Explorer Assignment

To All Bees in Our Hive:

You have a new mission to carry out. Now that our California Native Americans unit is over, we will be spending some time learning about explorers that traveled to California from far off countries.

Your job is to go to the California Explorers page. You will then pick an explorer to research. You are allowed to edit this page with the information you discover. No one is supposed to do it all - this is a team effort! Working together we should be able to discover all the information.

Keep in mind:

Make sure to respect what everyone has written and don't erase entries. Also, make sure to include your name with the information so everyone knows who added it. Finally, since we are all editing the same page, we can't all work on it at the same time. So, if the page is "locked" (there will be a message that tells you this) you can comment back and forth to ask each other for a turn.

In order to give other people a chance, please don't "hog" the page for longer than 10 minutes at a time. Okay?

Don't Forget our Book Reviews!

We have a folder for Book Reviews. If you have a great book you read, please add it to our pages. Just make sure that you add it to the correct genre.

Once we start adding book reviews, we will have a place to go for book recommendations. Also, it should help us know what genre the books belong to.

FYI: All "Early Birds" for Reading Lotto can choose to fill out the book review INSTEAD of writing the Rate the Book form.
